The purpose of the game is to find a word that will continue the last presented word using the X last digits, so a words chain. Example, if you are playing with 2 digits and word is Lettuce, you have to find a word starting with the letters CE. Another example, 1 digits and word is Instant, then you have to find a word starting with letter T. If the opponent can't find a word then you win, either way if you can't find a word then you lose.
Normal Game is a match against the AI, where you can choose a few settings like how many digits you want to play with, and the difficulty. A Normal Game match has IAP enabled, so we can track the purchases you make and can show them for future reference.
Arcade Game reflects the standard known arcade system where there is a certain progress in the game, in fact, you will start a game with one digit and in easy mode, then gradually, depending on the level you advance to, you will unlock more digits and more difficulty and the AI will become smarter and digits will also increase making the game more difficult in the end. The Solution Icon and In-App-Purchase are disabled in Arcade game, but depending on the points you get whilst replying to the word in place, you might get some free Gifts, which can be either a free Invert Letters option or a free Any First Letter option.
Timed Game is like a Normal Game but with the addition of a timer, it will start at 20 seconds. And every 2 moves from yourself it will decrease of 2 seconds. Hurry up though in finding a word and quickly write it correctly down!
Facebook Challenge and Load Matches buttons will only be visible to Facebook users, since the Challenge will give you the option to challenge one of your friends, that you will select and send an invitation to. They will have to accept, hence a little check button underneath your name in Game Mode screen, to see whether your friend has accepted already or not. The game is saved on the database so you don't need to have the game opened, but yes it's a real time game event, so it's much funnier to play in realtime rather than coming back to the app and check at different times.
The solution button will give you a probable word to play, launching a popup where you can decide to either find another word or play the word you choose. Be careful though, in not Arcade game, the Solution is always free for 3 times, for every new game, after that you can either buy Solutions as IAP offered in the Buy products popup, or you can burn points in favour of solutions. Tapping on the Solution icon will prompt you how may points are needed to use that option.
Careful about consuming a solution, if there are no words found that still counts as a consumed solution!
The Invert Letters is a consumable In App Purchase product that once played will make so that the last 2 digits of a word are inverted, example: if the word is TABLE then once you play the Invert Letters option you will have to find a word starting with EL. In the case of 1 digits it obviously won't work.
The game offers In App Purchases. You can buy in total 5 consumables products. Two are special features called Invert Letters and Any First Letter. The other 3 are related to Solutions, you can buy 1 or 5 or a package of 15. In App Purchase bought products will remain as an email logged user and as a Facebook user for Normal Game and Facebook Challenge Game, as well as for Apple users, but they won't show during Arcade Game where you would only get them as free gifts according to the rules and the logic to get them.
Any First Letter is a consumable In App Purchase product that once played will make so that you're going to respond then to a 2 letter word where the final digit is the final one of the word in place, and the first one is a random letter that you choose out of all the word letters excluding the 2 final ones. Example: if the word in place is Exclude, after you consume this option, and say you tap on the letter C then the final new word would be CE, or if you tap on letter L then the final word would be LE.
The Options button will trigger a modal where you will get a few choices to play, like Give Up option (letting the opponent win), or Update Profile Picture (only for non Facebook users) and Log Out option.
When you are out of Free Solution, you can still count on them by sacrificing points, bascially a popup will prompt aksing you if you want to give up some points for a solution. Careful, the amount of points is gradually increasing for every time you use the feature!
From the Options modal, only for Normal Game, you can now see adverts in change of a reward, the reward is randomly selected out of the 2 products that IAP offers in Wordtie, so either the Invert Letters or either Any Random First Letter.
SmartAI is an automatic cool feature that gets activated only in Normal and Difficult games. \nBasically the AI can earn a reward, like you can in Arcade Game, based on some highly reachable scores like long word or a word terminating with a combination of letters that is difficult for you to reply to . \nThe AI can earn either Invert Letters and the Any First Letter product and play when the AI thinks it's the right time to play
Once a game has finished, either you win or lose, you will be presented with a few options to either Replay Game with same settings, or start New Game, or see the Leaderboard. The Leaderboard will show your score for the game mode category you're playing, say you finish 2 different games one in Normal and the second in Arcade, then you will appear twice in the leaderboard list. Also, if you play twice in the same game mode category, say Arcade, the latest match score will always override the previous score, so be careful!
If you play a match as Facebook user, on the Leaderboard screen you will also have the option to Share the Leaderboards image to your timeline on Facebook, and also leave a message.
